Unlike conventional refrigerators, moisture in the air in a NoFrost refrigerator is permanently collected in a central refrigeration unit, which automatically defrosts frequently. The resulting condensation is simply channeled out of the refrigerator, where it evaporates. In this way, the NoFrost function permanently keeps the refrigerator free of ice and without the need for manual defrosting.
